About the event
Your 45-minute immersive foraging walk will take you from coastal paths to the seawater's edge, exploring the wild flavours that inspire the Vraic menu. Along the way, you’ll taste and gather delicate coastal greens and umami-packed seaweeds, learning how to identify and harvest each one. This will gift you a deeper understanding of each ingredient, enhancing the experience of the meal to come, through a richer connection to its origins.
Next, it is time to feast. Head Chef Nathan Davies and his team will have prepared a multi-course tasting menu inspired by Guernsey’s unique seasonal produce and the foraging experience you’ve just enjoyed. Take a seat and savour your carefully crafted lunch at the beautifully located Vraic, right next to the golden sands and the sea.*
*Please note, if you are booking a single place you may be seated at a table with other event attendees.*
*As Vraic offers a unique dining experience focused primarily around fish, we are unable to cater to some dietary requirements, so please get in touch ahead of booking to confirm*
