About the event
Step into the Old Government House Hotel’s storied past as the "Murderous Minstrels" brings history to life with a bespoke murder mystery performance set within the iconic hotel.
Mr John Gardner, and his wife, Emma, are delighted to welcome you to the opening of the Old Government House Hotel.
Over the past few months, Mr and Mrs Gardner have worked hard to transform this elegant building into an old and comfortable country mansion. Come and join us in our beautifully restored dining room, which, until recently, was graced by various Lieutenant Governors, including Sir Hew Dalrymple, Sir John Colborne, and Sir Jon Doyle.
You will enjoy a sumptuous dinner, comprising a bill of fare including every delicacy of the season, accompanied by choice wines and liquors with attentive service in elegant surroundings. Some special guests have already accepted the invitation, ensuring you will find yourself rubbing shoulders with the great and good of Guernsey society.
Please accept this invitation and become part of Guernsey’s history. This event will ensure that the year 1858 will be remembered for many years to come.
